Tecno

Die beiden Brüder Gianfranco und Luciano Pederzani besassen eine Fabrik für Hydraulik-Pumpen im italienischen Bologna, aber ihr Hauptinteresse galt immer dem Motorsport. 1962 begannen sie Karts zu bauen und gewannen damit mehrere Meistertitel. Tecno Karts wurden weltweit zu einem Erfolg. 1964 folgte die Produktion von 250 Exemplaren Formula 4 Rennwagen. 1966 wandten sie sich der Formel 3 zu und zwei Jahre später der Formel 2. Unvergessen ist der Europameistertitel 1970 von Clay Regazzoni, aber auch die Siege von Ronnie Peterson, François Cévert etc. auf einem der schönsten Rennwagen der Geschichte des Motorsports.

The Bologna based Tecno Team started with two brothers, Gianfranco and Luciano Pederzani. They owned a hydraulic pump factory in Bologna, Italy but their main interests were motor racing. They started by building Karts in 1962 (TecnoKart) and won several World titles. TecnoKart become a success worldwide and was well known both sides of the Atlantic.

Then in 1964 Gianfranco and Luciano Pederzani progressed to build Formula 4 cars. Only 250 of these Tecno Formula 4 cars were built!

In 1966 Tecno turned their attention to building F3 cars and two years later F2 cars. The 1970 European Championship title  by Clay Regazzoni is unforgettable, but also the victories of Ronnie Peterson, François Covert etc. on one of the most beautiful racing cars in the history of motorsport.
